And you haven't visited Gavier Lake on Dumas road,

Then yes you are missing the most beautiful memories that birds make.

Hey, This is Dhrumil Mevada. And in this blog, I will provide you each and every detail about Gavier lake which is in the sun city surat. Here you will go through some memories I've captured with my camera and then there will be information about what you will find there, entry fees, timings of gavier lake, and some points to be taken care of before going there.

Why Gavier Lake ?

Gavier lake is a place with a perfect combination of Nature and Birds, where different species of birds come in different season. Bird come there in groups, they play in lake water. Also hunt bees, insects and some fishes. This creature shows their all activities at this place as the lake is in center and surrounded by greenery and walking area. So, these birds feel safe to behave their own natural behavioir. Photographers come here from all across the city to click Birds, not only photographers but lot of people come there to enjoy the view of natural beauty.

Now as you enter there and register your name after giving fee money you will be given a short booklet in which all the species of birds and butterfly with their names. that booklet will look like this.

This Booklet will guide you about each bird and insect you see in the lake. also there are lot of species of butterflies mentioned in that booklet.

I would like to tell you that sometimes guide won't give you the booklet by him seld, so if you don't get the booklet after paying entering fees you can ask for that booklet, as it includes in your entry fees.

During entry you have to write your details into their register which is necessary. by that entry counter you can also get some magazines as well, in those magazine you can see and read about the activities conducted by " Nature Club Surat ".

So you should visit this beautiful place with your camera and click so many memories of birds, And if you don't have camera then also you can visit this place as "Nature Club Surat" has provided Binoculars there for visitors, where visitors come and see the birds with those binoculars and those binoculars has no extra charges.

Now the main part you must be waiting for that is entry fees and timings.

Entry Fees and Timings :

This lake has cheapest entry ticket with just Rupees Fifity(₹50) only fpr visitors, and that includes that booklet and the visit of the bird information center they have made there.

"ENTRY FEES : ₹50/-"

For Professional Photography you need to pay : ₹100/- with ₹50/- (In total ₹150/-)

Now let's talk about the timings of gavier lake. So, gavier lake is open for visitors only on sunday from 7:00am in morning to 12:00pm in noon.

"Only on Sunday : 7:00am to 12:00pm"

Safety Steps Before Visiting Gavier Lake :

As you are going near a lake so there will be a very rough walkway and lot of trees. So, just go through following steps:

Personal Vehicle Recommended.
Wear hard sole shoes.
Wear Full sleeves top wear and full sized bottom wear.
Wear Cap for your hair and head protection.
If you are a Photographer just don't sit anywhere for shots before checking out land.
